The system receives all forms from those interested in emigrating to Canada. These pass to the data bank, from where the best profiles will be chosen periodically to send them an official invitation (“Invitation to Apply – ITA”) to apply for permanent residence. Only at that moment the interested party can be considered as a formal candidate to emigrate to Canada and will have a maximum of 90 days to present all the necessary precautions that support their application.
If the applicant is selected because their application is successful in any of these flows, the Express Entry candidate will obtain 600 additional points under the Comprehensive Classification System (CRS) and will be given priority when receiving an invitation to request the Canadian permanent residence.
